The Academic Program
Students will enroll in two classes above the intermediate level: Intensive Spanish Language and Spanish Culture. These courses are taught exclusively for UNF students. Both courses will transfer to UNF as study abroad credit. The Program Director and the Chair of the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures, in consultation with the International Center, will assign UNF equivalencies to the courses taken during the study abroad program in Santander.
The students’ immersion experience will continue outside the classroom through family homestays, which helps them enhance their conversational skills and engage in the daily life and customs of local Spaniards. Families provide three meals a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner).
For more information visit the UNF Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures website.
